To renew your subscription to the British Lichen Society using PayPal, please enter your surname and BLS membership number below. Then select the payment which you wish to make from the drop-down list, and also enter your e-mail address. Finally, click on 'Proceed to Paypal'. You will be automatically transferred to the secure PayPal web site where you will able to complete the payment. If you already have a PayPal account, you will, of course, need your PayPal password. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will need the credit or debit card to which your subscription is to be charged.

Your credit/debit card details are not recorded on the BLS web site, and the BLS has absolutely no access to them. The PayPal web site gives a detailed description of their own security arrangements, which you may wish to read.

If you have just joined the Society, you are most welcome to pay your first subscription using PayPal, but to do this you need your British Lichen Society Membership number. To get a number, please complete the application form and return it, with the fee, to the Membership secretary. Further details can be found [here]

So, if you want to pay using PayPal, don't send a payment with your application form, but be sure that you include your e-mail address (clearly written, please!). Also, please indicate on the form that you wish to pay using PayPal. When we have received the form, we will e-mail your Membership number to you, and you can then make the payment due.
